How to Focus on Any Task
Published on: January 03, 2021
In our modern world there is a lot of distractions. Here are the things I do so I can have full concentration.
1. Get Enough Sleep
Yup, you should get at least 6 hours of sleep during the night before you start. Your brain can focus easily if it have enough rest.
2. Camomile
Coffee, soft drinks or any sugar based drinks should be cut off. Sugar is like firing nitro in a car. It will get fast but burns out easily. Tea helps you relax and therefore can make your concentration higher.
3. Write
Instead of reading your book. Write it down and then memorize what you have written. Your handwriting is more recognizable by your brain and can be easier to digest than Times New Roman.
4. Classical music
This may not work for everyone. But classical music simulates brain signals compare to loud music. Either this or totally silence.
5. Offline
Switch your phone to Airplane mode. Turn off your computer’s Wi-Fi. This is the number one distraction to you. It may be difficult to some and you may end up cold turkey but I assure you this is very important. Remain offline until the exam for example is finished. If you go back to social media, new information will flood your brain and what you have memorized may go to the gutter.
These are just some guides and may not be everyone’s coffee but I hope you try some tips here and come back to the comment section to share your success.
